Greetings!
The arts are in full swing in Flagstaff. As we slowly transition from the summer months to the fall, arts and culture stays as hot as ever. In September, I'm particularly looking forward to the Pickin' in the Pines Festival, the new fine art figure drawing exhibition, Touching at a Distance, and this Saturday's Arboretum concert with Traveler. Also, we've just announced the 2010-11 schedule for the Grand Canyon Guitar Society's concert series. The series features Grammy winning artist, Laurence Juber, and Flamenco guitarist, Adam Del Monte. You'll see these and more events below in this month's newsletter. I hope to see you out at ArtWalk this Friday! Cheers, John Tannous "JT" Executive Director |
