Coconino Center for the Arts

The mission of Flagstaff Cultural Partners (FCP) is to enhance the spectrum and quality of cultural experiences available to residents of and visitors to our community. We do this through operation of the Coconino Center for the Arts and through our partnership with the City of Flagstaff.

FCP is currently accepting applications for a full-time Office Manager. The Office Manager handles administrative duties and bookkeeping for the organization. The position is open until filled.

The position is unique in its breakdown of support. Half of the funding for the position is made possible through the Americorps program, and the other half is available through Flagstaff Cultural Partners. Therefore, the position is literally the combination of two part-time positions under the heading of Office Manager. It is full-time, 35-40 hours per week.


Assignment Title: Office Manager

Unique Full-time Opportunity

Position Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping and financial records, including payroll, contracts, accounts payable and receivable
  • Administers grant program for the Art & Science Fund
  • Manages the FCP database and development activities
  • Handles marketing and promotion duties as assigned
  • Handles a variety of administrative functions and assists the Executive Director
  • Provides customer service and ocassionally greets gallery visitors
  • Assists with FCP programs and events
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks or equivalent accounting software program
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and able to work with diverse groups of people
  • Ability to lead projects, take initiative and work alone; ability to be a positive member of a team
  • Required computer skills: MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, internet, email, general competency.
  • Must have flexible schedule; some activities may require evening or weekend hours
